Ana Flores is a sculptor, environmentalist and community arts advocate who lives in southern Rhode Island and Nova Scotia, Canada. Her work is shown internationally and is in private, corporate and institutional collections throughout the United States.

For twenty years she has been an artist in residence in school, universities and public institutions. She is the co-director of Manos, an arts group working to enhance and humanize institutional spaces, and the co- founder of the Arts and Healing Program at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Most recently she convened a unique forum entitled the "Gaia Dialogues"; bringing together environmentally committed professionals in Rhode Island from the fields of art, science and education to create opportunities for richer dialogue and collaboration between the disciplines of art and science.
