An interesting dissonance is created, a triangular pull consisting of the spiritual implications
of the show's name "Maritime Cosmologies" the oceanic materials, and these earthbound creatures struggling under the burden of life.
The earthly attitude is accentuated by the heavy bases which hold up the sculptures, made from small, thick beamed work tables, topped with slabs of
poured concrete.
